Help with utility bills

We are Reaching Out to Dorset residents who may be struggling financially due to Covid-19.

Help is available to Dorset families in the run up to Christmas and the winter months. We will ensure that families who are struggling financially have access to the support that they may need. 

We are able to assist with the cost of energy (heating, cooking, lighting), as well as providing support with managing your water bills (including sewerage) and other essentials as needed.  If your family have experienced difficulty due to being unwell, self-isolating or are experiencing food / fuel poverty as a result of the Covid19 situation e.g. loss of income or employment, we may be able to offer additional support. 

The support available includes vouchers to enable you to pay your fuel bills or buy food. We are unable to give you a specific time frame for a response due to the levels of demand, but please be assured that our team will contact you as quickly as they can.

How To Get Help

Please complete the online form below or call our team on 01929 408950. This line is open Monday – Friday 9.30am - 4.30pm. When we receive your enquiry our assessment team will consider your eligibility to receive support under this scheme.  Please also include your phone number when submitting the form as this will help us to contact you more quickly. 

We are currently experiencing extremely high demand for this service. If you have already left a voicemail or submitted an online form, we will be in contact with you as soon as possible.  Whilst we aim to respond to all enquiries within 5 working days, our current response time may take up to 10 working days.
